OCREC Sponsorship Terms of Service
- Sponsors of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee (OCREC) web site and/or newsletter (OCREC media) must either be party neutral or support the Republican party. OCREC media will not be used to promote another party, or candidates belonging to other parties..
- Sponsor advertisements may not negatively impact another Republican or Republican organization.
- Content on sponsor advertisements must be appropriate for all ages. OCREC reserves the right to deny sponsors who’s message is not consistent with the current Republican platform.
- OCREC does not endorse products or services that choose to become sponsors and is not responsible for any claims made by them. Sponsorship, or individual member support, does not reflect an official committee endorsement.
- When two or more Republican Candidates compete for the same office, OCREC does not endorse any candidate until after a primary victory.
- Candidates who change parties or become ineligible to hold the political office they were running for, are prevented from sponsorship. These sponsor advertisements will be removed from this web site without a refund.
- Sponsorship with OCREC is performed on a first come, first serve basis. Special rules apply for candidate advertisements (see below)
- Before a primary, when two or more Republican Candidates compete for the same office, those candidates may not advertise in consecutive months in the same OCREC media, this prevents the monopolization of the advertisement space and the impression of an an endorsement by OCREC.
- A month of sponsorship on the web site is defined by a period of no more than 28 days. Newsletter sponsorship remains indefinitely in published editions.
- OCREC reserves the right to offer sponsorship discounts to members, affiliated organizations and Republican candidates. We do not offer discounted rates to candidates in contested Republican races or races for offices outside of the Orange County, Florida electorate voting influence.
