Government should live within its means just like everyone else. If revenues decline government should balance its budget by cutting spending, becoming more efficient and looking toward the private sector to provide services. Excessive government spending is one of the reasons we are facing economic problems today. It is important that we not unfairly burden Florida residences and businesses."
